I was talking to one of the English-speaking guides at Camp Nou (FC Barcelona’s stadium) and he said something about the election coming up. I said, “What are you talking about?” He explained to me that the fans were going to vote out the president of the club. I thought that was the craziest thing I’d ever heard of. It would be like having George Steinbrenner voted out by Yankees fans. I thought I have to get this back to the States somehow and make this a thing.
