Found via Paulp I was JUST talking about the old iCAT system which gave away free bar-code readers for the same purpose, but as you can imagine, the company lost all its money because lifehackers found better(read “FREE”) software methods using the free hardware. This makes more sense.

The latest book Im reading. Has really motivated me to keep climbing. I had one bid to summit ranier in 2007 that ended at the base of the inter-glacier (lterally the first few steps up the mountain) that we abandoned due to weather. Im jones’in to go up again …

Ok, I have this weird afinity for camping stoves. I need to go smaller, lighter, more efficient. This is a good prod to get my designs cleaned up and in a publishable manner. I have a couple designs for wax stoves, but abandoned them after the soot issue. Im going to revisit with other wax forms.
